Note: Proof of a Negative Coggins Test is required before unloading. A copy will be required to be kept on file with the fair office.
General Rules:
- Rules of the Horse Association of America shall govern the contest.
- Contestant shall be bona fide owner of both horses making up an entry.
- Lightweight and heavyweight horses shall be weighed without harness previous to the contest. Scales are available near the grounds.
- Bridles shall be either open face or blind bridles, but no change therein may be made after the contest begins.
- Whipping is forbidden and the carrying of a whip, undue use of lines, profanity, or shouting is prohibited.
- There will be drawing for positions.
- A maximum of three men besides teamster will be allowed and will not be permitted to be in front of eveners until pull is through.
- No horse can pull in both light and heavy weight requirements.
- To qualify for premium monies, contestant shall pull his team the first required distance and continue to compete.
- No Entry Fees required.

Section A - Open Horse Pull
Class
1 - Lightweight (under 3301 lbs.)
2 - Heavyweight (3301 lbs. and over)
3 - Horsemanship - Trophy Only
Section B - Farm Pull Note: This pull is for draft and mule teams without pulling shoes and geared for the beginning horse pull team and inexperienced teamster.
This pull will be incrporated into the open pull and not run as a separate pull.
